That would be your radar adaptive cruise control. It is an option.
Basically once activated you can set a gap / distance and speed between you and the car in front of you. So for example if someone cut infront of you when you have the adaptive cruise control activate, it will brake and maintain a gap that you had preset earlier.

Wow the previous owner didn't even bother removing the afe dual cone intake, I wonder if there is a JB4 lurking in the ecu box..
