Was just about to post these as I just got mine. the 20W ones. They're great. I figured I'd quote since your so curious.
All but one pic that I'll annotate are about 20ft away. The time was about 8am. I'm sorry the night pic isn't the greatest, but I really have no lights outside my house for ambient lighting.
First off these are the ones I bought. I have a 2009 E90 LCI. I installed through the engine bay,
not the wheel wells.
