Apparently very little juice is required to pop the boot.
Saw somebody mention in a topic that this happened to them, but they could still open the boot even though nothing else really worked.

I suppose if it was completely dead dead, you could unlock the drivers door pop the bonnet and then attach jump leads.
The jump leads should then power the boot release?
