Personally, I believe there is no need to "upgrade to stage 3 for a little more power" for autox events, etc. I have run faster times than other e9x cars, including M3s and 335s with more aggressive tuning at AutoX events.

After my first season of AutoX and a couple track days, I know that this car with just my mild tune is much more capable than my skill level as a driver. If and when I reach a point that the car is holding me back, I'll upgrade accordingly. Just my opinion. Either way, it's all about having fun. enjoy

I agree, there is no need for more power for autox events. I just said I wanted to keep it simple/reliable for autox. I would like the added power just in general

If I do anything specifically for autox, it will be rims and tires. My plan is to run this summer season as the car sits, and on street tires, then see how much I like it and go from there. I realize the car is much faster then my driver skill level and will probably be like that for a while still.
