I'm nearly 60

and been running turbodiesels for over 20 years. Now my annual mileage is much reduced I've reverted to petrol. Why? IMHO emissions legislation has ruined all that was good about the diesel engine. It's spoiled the mpg and introduced EGRs and DPFs which are nothing but trouble.

So now I enjoy my 6-cyl petrol burble through my Performance Exhaust...and still get 40+mpg on a run. Bliss!
