certainly the dealer will not take those options into account but either way if you had it they will tell you these options don't worth money, if you don't have they will say you r car is poor man spec so either way you will get rape. However when you are selling privately it is a different story, when i was looking for my car, the difference can be upto 2-3k for similar cars with and without those options

I will at the end of the day choose a built in nav for reasons

*downloading and cracking a nav software on a phone is a nightmare unless you use iphone and buy in app store

* waiting for phone to find GPS ( sometimes it take ages)

* signals are generally better in a build in sat nav

*using nav on phone will kill its battery

*Leave suction marks all the bloody time and its hard to clean it off every time

*Bloody thing ( be it a phone or tomtom) keep falling off /Cables are a mess and you also need to take it off and store everything away everytime

* have to stop in a safe place to change anything as the touch screen is horrible to use when driving (also dangerous)

*Idrive system lets you have on screen info not just a sat nav.

* people wont think its a pooor mans spec car!

I think i just had a really bad experience with portable satnav systems...
