Thanks. I'll be only doing a couple of HPDE's per year, so I might just get the cheaper street tires. I'll be spending too much time on my CRG/Rotax TAG Kart going 80mph 1" off the ground.

Three days on street rubber and they were toast, so the economics work with race rubber. Granted, if you haven't spent ~5-10 days on track, I'd stick with street rubber, it's much more predictable.
