I have the same, I went to the dealer for a drive with one of their "senior service managers"
He said it is normal and they all do that. (LOL) My response: Your brand new cars all make this stupid noise and only one one side?
I also showed him my wastegate rattle (A very mechanical metal noise when lifting off) and he said its the injectors lol and wait for it.......They all make that noise?!? At this point I had to politely inform him of what a penis he was we had an awkward drive back to the garage. Apparently it is rude to request their diagnosis and not nod and say "Yes sir, I accept all the bullshit coming out of your mouth". Then he just started spewing words (VANOS, lifters, valves, the chain, and timing) and ended up listing every component of the drive train, and stated that the rattle could be from any of them (DUH)
So the moral of the story is, I'd believe your mate
