I was down in Donington the other week doing a pre-race test day with my mate who has a Caterham R400 superlight. He pays for someone to look after it and just deliver it to any track he's driving/racing so practicality isn't an issue.
I don't know how yours compares as I'm not quite as anal as some of the others when it comes to power and weight. All I will say is it was an absolute hoot. If I lived near a decent track I'd have one.
