I would assume that any issue can be fixed under the New Vehicle Warranty before it expires. You can only buy Extended Warranty before the NVW expires anyways. Another benefit of Extended Warranty is that you have the option of getting a 2 or 3 year EW, where as CPO warranty is fixed at 2 years.
