It was swirl flaps that had the issue, they use to get injested
The 35d engine, be it pre-LCi or LCi run the modified swirl flaps - they don't suffer from the issue.
I replaced mine for a couple of reasons, two of mine were weeping oil and in my opinion they're not needed, over engineering at its best.
