Yes, I have the same issue with 2011 335i. I'm also in Los Gatos and I also talked to Stevens Creek and Mountain View dealers, as well as DINAN and basically every third party audio/electronics installer in the area (and a few out of the area). Nobody knows how to do it. Virtually everybody says it is impossible.
