i was comin back from work today... i noticed that my oil temp was arround 245 after 15-20 mins of driving (55-65mph).... nothing wierd about this, perfectly normal... i noticed this since the first day i got her... but then i had this run with a 350z... this was at 2am....open road with barely any cars...i smoked this guy... he just wouldnt give up so we did a couple of runs and then i let him go....but then my oil temp slowly dropped down to 225.... this has never happened to me before..... the temp went up to 250 once and never again... but today it went down to 225 even after i pushed it... dont get me wrong.. i'm not complaining... just want to know the rationale... anybody know anything about this... my guess is that i actually took the car fast enough for it cool down...
