Fitted mine with non-RFs straight away, I hated the horrible bumpy ride and poor grip. To try and answer your question my insurers said they had no bearing on the policy as people are free to change brands of trye as well as put '50' wheels on in an emergency etc. They did, however, want to charge me extra for my sports suspension and half leather?!!
