I think if I was getting a COBB pro-tune I would want it done on a dyno. I did swapping of logs & changes with Terry by email & it worked out very well, but if I was messing with the ECU internals I am not so sure I would want to go that way. There is a lot of talk about getting into the ECU etc. with the COBB flash but I am mostly interested in results not techniques.
Based on what I have seen of COBB cars numbers so far I can't really see any compelling reason to switch to a COBB flash tune. There is a car listed above using a COBB tune with what looks like a number of bolt-ons. The torque & WHP numbers posted don’t look all that compelling compared to a piggy with similar or less mods.
