I was at Blizzcon; here I am sitting on the Frozen Throne:
Diablo 3 is spectacular! The level up system has been redesigned from Diablo 1 or 2. I played it co-op with 3 other players, I played as the Sorceress. I can tell I will have many late hours, and groggy mornings after this game is out.
Starcraft 2 felt very much like Starcraft 1. Disappointingly so. It's kind of the way Street Fighter 4 was
supposed to feel. Same game, better graphics. Think of it as Starcraft 1 with another expansion pack; this expansion pack brings better graphics and a few new units to each race with new abilities.
I played Terran and beat another Terran opponent. The game probably wasn't polished, as the units had the same sound effects as they did in Starcraft 1, the exact same sound effects. The screen resolution, or perhaps the new resizing of the units and buildings made it a tad difficult to select things precisely (think the first time you played Warcraft 3, from Starcraft/Warcraft 2).
