I'm sure the quality is the same, but if it were my 50k, I would want a vehicle produced in Germany, unless the savings is passed on to me. Case-in-point.....Maximas used to be produced in Japan, with components mostly made in Japan. Now they are produced in Tennessee with lower cost labor relatively speaking, and components from Mexico and The Philippines. The price has gone nothing but up. Obviously savings were not passed onto the consumer. Now, if profits have not gone up, it doesn't take a CPA to surmise what's next.
