Yeah the basy tone was so loud at rpm 2k-3k.. Luckily I didn't change the x-pipe, I guess the tone will be louder..Should I put back the 2nd cat? That thing was so heavy..

To tell you the truth I'm not sure what is the best thing to do. Unless you are planning on going catless DP's, I probably wouldn't put the secondary cats back. I think the real cuprits are those small diameter round straight through magnaflows. You might try some oval ones in their place but that is more money and no guarantee you will like it better but it would probably be a little quieter. Another option is to pick up a new or used complete catback system. An then there is Terry who swears by the stock exhaust including mufflers and secondary cats matched with UR catless DP's.
