No kidding. Today I spent a good two hours painting the rusty hubs with Duplicolor's Caliper paint kit (black.) I tried a can of BBQ paint that I had, but it must have been ancient because it wasn't sticking at all. Enamel paint does have a shelf life apparently!

The Duplicolor stuff works, but it doesn't look great when you get real close. But, it is far better than the silver mixed with orange rust look it had before! Now I've got so much caliper paint left over I'm thinking about painting the calipers black too (blend in behind the wheels.)

I'd love a BBK, but I can't see spending that much coin for something that would really be just cosmetic. I'm not likely to ever really tax the stock braking system hard enough to warrant the upgrade to Brembo or StopTech. I'd hate to to go total poseur and paint the stock calibers something flashy like red or yellow.
