I dont think so. It says on BMWs website "turbo with variable vane geometry".
Also, if it was two turbos it would be a lot more than 256bhp.
It looks like the same engine as fitted to the 530d. Now the 535d does say "twin turbo" on their website. I'd guess this would be the same engine fitted to a possible 335d.
Interesting point to note the the 330d 0-60 is now virtually identical to the 335i.
Maybe that could be addressed with a possible M335i at some point (like the one series M135i) with the same 320bhp power unit? That would probably see the 0-60 down to low 5 seconds............................... but then theres the 335d.........
All speculation though..........
