I had one from new a couple of years back. I had the 2.9 which could do with a little more power, if you can stretch the S I would go for it as it makes a huge difference especially with the PDK gearbox.
The 2.9 needs to be spec'd, it doesn't even come with leather as standard, the S does have a better standard spec.
The interior is very Porsche, basic but functional. If you can get one with a leather dash it's great, really makes the interior feel classy.. Again if you can get nav with the universal Audio interface it's really nice, full colour touch screen and you get all of the iPod function on the screen...
I now have a 911 C2S PDK and I won't lie the difference is night and day, it's truly one of the best cars I have owned and it will be impossible to replace as the new 991 is just not as good.
