Apologies for my 'low profile' on here. I do actually check to see what's going on from time to time. Tony does such a good job, I just don't need to very much, that's all.
At this time of year, I just can't recommend winter tyres enough, especially to those who've already had problems getting around in their e9x. Had it not been for Tony's advice last year, I'd be none the wiser.
Some time ago, I wrote of
my experiences of the active steering over the first winter after I bought my car. That experience was based on using the 'normal' summer run-flats. The increased confidence inspired as a result of now using winter tyres just does not compare to that inspired by the needless DSC+T & active steering & braking intervention.
The increased traction now provided by the tyres means that the electronic intervention is far reduced.
