Unprotected nylon hoses with push-lock fittings is for sure a risk. It is better to use braided teflon lines and AN-fittings. Hoses with fittings are e.g. available as parts for nitrous oxide systems.
You will also need 1/8 NPT to AN adapters since meth nozzles and joints are 1/8.
