The motor is as it came - 145,000ish S52 w/S50 Manifold, ECIS Intake & MAF w/SW and a Dinan exhaust. Also has an oil pan baffle - but the chassis and suspension have been heavily modified:

Welded half cage with rear strut tower bracing
  • Stripped interior to save about 200lbs.
  • Full AKG 75D bushings and mounts with rear camber links, new front control arms and other bits that needed replacing.
  • JRZ RS coilovers 650/750 springs
  • 3.91 diff for better torque out of slow turns since the torque is almost nonexistent until 5000 RPM.

The M3, before I stripped it, took out the interior, added the cage, and the diff was 2 seconds a lap faster, at Sears Point, than my well sorted 335 with same tires and like suspension. With the interior out, cage, and the diff it will probably be at least 3 seconds but probably 5 seconds faster.

This is all for what my mods and a lot of pain cost me on the 335.

I have a detailed blog post about ready to go up covering he whole thing.
