Let's take the top off. Find the little clips all along the outside. Here's three of them in this pic. I used my fingers and a flat head screwdriver, but it was a challenge at first, very tight. Go easy though -- they may break. A trim tool may come in handy here. If one breaks it's not a problem because there's a bunch more but still, try not to break 'em.

I've circled a few but there's 10. I broke one off eventually.
