I just had the HPFP fail on my 2011 335i (super low miles too, under 20K). I find it pretty ridiculous that BMW did not extend the HPFP 10-year warranty to N55 based vehicles, since they share the exact same HPFP part as the N54s.
Dealer quote to replace the HPFP was ~$970. I did check local independent BMW shops, and they ranged from $600 - $800. Hope this helps.
