For anyone that's applied this upgrade successfully, can you please explain, with as much detail as is possible, which files to place on the USB key drive?
I have a 2011 e90 335i with all necessary options. I'm using one of the "Keyfob" USBs that BMW sent me in my welcome kit. I've downloaded, from
www.bmw.com/update the UPD01005 file to my desktop. Opening this folder in Finder on my Mac shows 1 .xml file and 4 .bin files. Should I just copy the whole UPD01005 folder to the USB? Do I have to extract one of the particular .bin files?
I've formatted the USB drive, via Mac's DiskUtility, as FAT32 and it is completely empty.
Please help.
