How did you do that? When I try to get to music on mine, I get the same alternating connect-->disconnect (handshake issue) between the 6FL and the ipod.
I tried to play a song in the Touch and then plug into the 6FL, but no dice in getting it to recognize it.
I did a fresh restore of 3.0 and that didn't seem to do anything.
I have downgraded my 2G Touch back to 2.2.1 and after its done syncing in iTunes, back outside to try it.
