It's pretty likely that they're also going to start selling the LSA engine in the Z28 Camaro, which they're probably counting on to increase volume and spread the tooling cost out over more units.
There's still some exotic hardware in the LS9 that's not used in the LSA, and the blower isn't as big, so it's not just a matter of slapping a larger pully on it and a tune and getting another 100Hp.
