i just modded mine. What a cheesy easy thing to do.....
On the 2006 330I version (plastic), there is a small metal orrifice that needs to be removed. If you look closely you can see there is a small plastic plug that is glued in to hold the little metal restrictor in. I drilled out the plastic plug with a drill bit that fit closes the fit in the hole until i got the the metal restrictor. Then i flipped it over to the other side and took a flat tipped punch and whacked it out with a couple of light pops with a small hammer. It popped out clean. i made sure clean inside, then reinstalled it.
Note: of course on the 330I there was enough extra in the hose i didnt need to replace the modified CDV, but i did so the dealer cant give me crap if something does go wrong....
