It does rinse pretty clean, though, even when doing wheels. You can see the difference in color in the first photo between the one still in the package and the one on the grit guard -- that's after one ONR session. I used that same sponge again this time, and it's about one shade darker. I'll probably use it one more time, then toss it in favor of the new one in the photo.

I heard if you wash them with some dawn or throw them in the washer they become good as new, and actually softer over time. Anyway I guess I'll have to see how I like them but if worse comes to worse we can always use them for the wheels.
