Don't be at all tempted by slotted/drilled discs.
I fitted some slotted EBC discs and pads to my 530, and they were noisy under light/medium conditions, although OK when pushed hard.
I too can vouch for EBC pads - the lack of dust deposited on the wheels is enough of a reason to use them, never mind the braking.
Remember to run them in properly before using them in serious anger - the pad facing material is designed to bed your discs in to the pads. I ran mine in, but obviously not enough, as near the end of the running in mileage (I forget what it was now - 200 miles??) I used them very enthusiastically on a favourite stretch of road and ended up stopped at the junction at the end of the road in serious clouds of brake dust and smoke.
