Had my '06 330i serviced today including a scope and came back with a fault code for the WP (speed deviation outside tolerance). So is its death imminent or have you guys known these pumps to have a reasonable life after showing a code? With 100K miles, and the fact I use the car to travel a couple of hundred miles once a month for work........I'm thinking of getting it done. Quoted $1K including thermo and tax.
