If you have a sub then there's no need to pump the OEM bass adjustment up. That's where you OEM speakers distortion is coming from.

The OEM woofers and mids should not be doing any bass hard labor at all. I have done the same exact setup as yours with OEM speakers but no sub and it sounds quite great for the price, puchy bass and midbass (last setup was 120Hz HP on the front mids), no distortion. But I do not expect the OEM speakers to give me deep bass at all. They just can't; that's a sub job.

This is a problem of tuning and not of OEM speakers.
