**EDIT** I totally overlooked the fact that he's a convertible. That said, you win hands down. What I say below is true for a regular Vette.
If he's truly bone stock, I think it comes down to two things: What octane gas, and are you talking about from a dead stop, or a rolling start?
From a dead stop, with 91 octane, he wins. From a rolling start, with 93 octane, you win.
That's my two bits.
Only one real way to find out, though!
