First off. The DVD route update has to be some other types of files. 22 GB doesn't not fit on a DVD. Only Blu-ray Disc can do that. And I know our cars don't have Blu-ray drives. I recommend getting whatever update is needed updated via stealership. But that's all. Once your in the latest update. U can do the UBS route and update the maps yourself, hopefully saving you some $$. Now I don't really know what needs to be updated. Maybe I-drive firmware? But my m production date is 11/09. And some of you have newer cars but can't update. So I really don't know what's up. Is it package option? I have technology package.
