Unless the keeping of the option codes is just a formality, then 6VC = 639 = 6FL if in fact the modules are combined into this "ComBox" single module.
If they are not combined then the 6VC ComBox is the MULF-Hi replacement (6FL) and the 639 is the current TCU with Bluetooth Audio (AD2P) enabled.
What you are getting with the ComBox is the capability of playing your iPod thru its own Apple USB cable without DRM restrictions and with full tag display -no need to use the OEM iPod cable as before.
