My experience with HPS for track use is that they're STREET PADS and do not hold up well to the rigors of actual track use. They're BETTER than stock pads but not THAT much better. They'll still get overwhelmed on a warm day pushed by a competent driver, and on a car that weighs more than 3,500 lbs they're not really suited for any significant track use. They're marginally better than Axxis Ultimates for track use. Marginally.

They work pretty good for auto-cross though, since you don't really use the brakes as much and for as long as you would on a track.
