Looking for some advice from someone that has experience with replacing pads and is generally an expert on BMW maintenance.
One of the retainer clips on one of my new brake pads was bent in shipping(long story). My question is, it's noticeably bent and would need to be tweaked and bent back into the right position. Is this doable or do the metal clips need to be precise in their positioning in order to properly hold the pads in place? The metal clips don't seem like they will bend easily and I doubt I will get it back in the precise shape it was before.
If you have a real answer based on real service experience, please let me know. If you just want to offer an uneducated guess based on nothing more than your in-experience in the matter, you're just wasting my time lol
