Before I ordered my car, I test drove a 328i with 6MT, sports and premium back to back with a similarly equipped 335i. I loved them both.

The 335i had lots more torque so I was tempted to buy that. But I wanted to keep the car a long time so I went with the NA 328i hoping that the car would be reliable. Had I leased the car I would have gone with the 335i.

After spending a bunch of money the last year and a half, I considered selling it. But seeing so many of you take your cars past 200K, it makes me feel better about keeping it. Sure it's going to cost more to keep running than most cars, but it's worth it as long as repair and maintenance costs don't go through the roof.

So thanks to everyone for sharing their stories about their high mileage cars. It's very helpful.
