To be clear, I'm a big fan of your build. Its massively successful.
You documented your objective (an economical, reliable, daily plus some extra sizzle to scratch the itch for a driving enthusiast), then documented the steps and thought process to get from stock to special. Additionally, you did so in an intelligent manner, without spending stupid money (spoken from first hand experience).
Your 328i build reminds me of the type and spirit of car BMW used to build: nimble and agile, lightweight, NA I6 motors with a bias for spinning freely, sort of quirky, and not too spendy. Bravo!
