scheerspeed: can you elaborate more on the resonator mod for retaining backpressure?
here is my interpretation:
The OEM pipe from the engine to the resonator is diamerter X and the pipe exiting the resonator is diameter X-Y, where Y is a small value. In addition, the pipe exiting the resonator extended into the resonator device about 2 inches. So the reduction in pipe diameter (from inlet to outlet) and maybe shortening of the exhast path within the resonator makes up for the backpressure of the OEM exhaust effect.
