I agree about the vanos solenoids. Clean them and swap them. I dont have idle issues but I have been wanted to do this as preventive maintenance. I ve heard that it helps to get an even smoother idling when swaping vanos. Also I would buy one of those chevron injector cleaners if I were you. I bought one along with the air filter and mine is smoother now. I cant imagine if i clean the vanos and change plugs it will like new again...
