Lowkey's reply was certainly not low key....
So far, no issues with my new 335is but it is only 4 months old. If considering an older model, make sure it has had the HPFP recall done to it and make sure the 100,000 mile warranty for it is in effect. There may be other recalls to check on too.
BMWs may not be trouble free but no worse than most cars. A CPO or other extended warranty is a very good idea. One or two fixes over time pays for it.
