D'oh! DSC light just came on (along with the circled yellow exclamation bit)!
Mine is E90 320i ES, 2006 with 39k on the clock.
ABS seems to be working properly. Does that help my case

How likely is it that am I looking at £1,700 bill as well?
I have AA warranty, but it coveres up to £1,000 per claim... and I thought that should be enough
