not on a budget as such, eating out somewhere decent in London always costs....its for the Mrs birthday, seeing a show (5pm) then dinner after, somewhere.
its the first time we've been out out since the boy was born (12 weeks), so wanting to take advantage as such.

If for a special occasion, I would suggest www.bobbobricard.com
Ste - looks good but can only reserve at two sitting times, 6pm or 10pm

Heres a few of the best restraunts IMO. I would put these at the top of the list to go to for all out experience but only if work or a supplier was picking up the bill

Gaucho

Hawksmoor

Roka

Dean Street Town House

Kettners

Hix

Burger and Lobster

Flat Iron

Hakkasan
some great suggestions there Nick, thats what I was looking for, just a list of peoples favourites - theres so many place to choose from its difficult to know where to start.
Hawkmoor and Flat Iron look decent.
Gaucho is my back up, safe bet.

try a place called Burger and Lobster! (In Soho) brilliant atmosphere but can get very busy will silly waiting times so its advised to go early!
