[SCS15]

I searched but couldn't quite come up with the answer to my dilemma.

I have an 07 e92 with the silver window trim. It's old an oxidized etc but I'm wanting black trim anyway. And $1500+ for oem black trim is absurd.


So, do I vinyl or paint? I hate plastidip and I'm not looking for a temporary fix so plastidip isn't much of an option. Does paint holdup to normal wear and tear? Or how does the shadowline vinyl hold up? What paint to use to achieve a gloss black look?

Any help from someone that's done it before is greatly appreciated.
