Just had this done in my '11 328xi non-iDrive car. I ended up working with these guys twice, once around 4PM my time and once around 8PM my time, despite the fact that they're located in Poland. It works flawlessly.
Protip: The instructions I got after the activation was to call Sirius and provide my ESN to activate the free trial. I found it much easier to just enter my ESN online and activate via web.
