The 335i and M3 are the same torque output aren't they? I suspect the 335i has more accessible twist though?
TBH I don't lust after hign revving N/A engines any more - I guess I'm not enough of a purist?! Given the choice of a 911 GT3 RS or 911 Turbo S for example, I'd have the latter every time.

The Torque from the 335i is slightly more accessible, but the M3 isn't exactly lacking in grunt and will pull high gears, at slow road speeds for most driving situations.
Having said that, the 335i does have the edge low down. A debate that will go on and on.
I really think if the next generation M3 has a straight six turbo charge power plant and the fantastic chassis the E92 has, it will be without doubt the best ever M3.
