I changed my approach to this after having some feedback from the forum members. And here is what I think:

IF you listen to your music on low volumes, then stay as you are. With Eq'd sound curve you will get bass and treble boosted on lower volumes and you are good.

IF you listen to your music on moderate to high volumes, then get it coded to hi-fi. There is more definition with hi-fi along with the clarity.
